Mike Hung
Founder | Principal of Citrine Partners
Mike Hung is the founder and Principal of Citrine Partners (“CP”) and is responsible for all investment activities. He has 15 years of experience in the real estate sector and has transacted on over $1B of student housing throughout his career.
Prior to starting CP, Mike worked as Senior Vice President of Acquisitions and was a member of the executive team for CA Ventures' student housing platform, CA Student Living. In this role, he was responsible for managing all acquisitions activities for their core and opportunistic investment vehicles. Mike held a similar position at Waypoint Residential, where he launched their student housing division and oversaw all student housing acquisitions and dispositions. He has also held various positions at Wells Fargo and BlackRock and is currently a member of ULI’s National Student Housing Council. Mike lives in Charlotte, NC and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration/Finance from the University of North Carolina Wilmington
